Jennifer is an industry professional with 23 years of experience, including 13 years with WISE. She began her career in the wine industry working for Lesley Berglund (Co-Founder & Chairman of WISE) at Ambrosia Wine Catalogue/The Winetasting Network shortly after completing her BA in English Literature. In her role as The Glue, Jennifer: oversees WISE Operations which includes spearheading the WISE Mystery Shopping Program (now over 5,000 shops); overseeing content development; coaching; account management of WISE wineries; oversees marketing programs; moderates WISE Cabinets; coordinates, schedules, and communicates with coaches, attendees and winery partners for a robust class schedule of 30+ courses and onsite training programs throughout California, Oregon, Washington, New York and more.
In Jennifer’s free time, she can be found with her nose buried in her Kindle or puttering in her yard. She also loves to travel, spending time with her family and friends across the globe.

Ben Salisbury is a consultant, coach, content creator, public speaker, thought leader, subject matter expert, and entrepreneur for the wine and spirits industry. His expertise in sales and marketing strategy accumulated over four decades working with some of the largest adult beverage companies in the world including Ste Michelle Wine Estates and Constellation Brands. His approach is to disrupt the status quo of how wines and spirits are marketed and sold, to challenge outdated practices, and to provide innovative solutions to help wineries and distilleries sell more products. Ben is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, creates original content on his blog and YouTube channel, and has contributed articles to the Wine Business Monthly.
Dr. Chris Bitter, Wine Economist, Vintage Economics
Chris Bitter, Ph.D., is Terrain’s senior wine and grape analyst, focusing on generating research and insights in the areas that impact the business of vineyards and wineries. With more than twenty years of experience as an economist and market analyst, Chris is a former faculty member of the University of Washington’s Runstad Center for Real Estate Studies. In 2016 he left his academic position to launch Vintage Economics, a market research and consulting firm focused on the wine industry.
Chris earned his Ph.D. in economic geography with a minor in agricultural and resource economics from the University of Arizona. His research has been published in a variety of national and international publications including the Journal of Wine Economics and he has delivered presentations at wine industry conferences around the globe.
Maiah Johnson Dunn - Wine Writer, Beverage Education Manager, New York Kitchen
Maiah Johnson Dunn tells heart-forward stories about New York wine.
After a 13-year career in experiential and event marketing, Maiah transitioned to the wine and hospitality industry. Her shift began with Chasing Grapeness, an Instagram account turned wine pairing dinner series focused on diversity, equity and inclusion in the industry. Following two sold-out dinners in 2020, she started writing about wine and never looked back.
Her bylines include 585 Magazine, City Newspaper, Edible Finger Lakes, and the New York Wine & Grape Foundation among others. Her work on New York and Finger Lakes wines can also be found in the forthcoming 5th edition of Jancis Robinson’s Oxford Companion to Wine, due to be published in 2023.
Maiah is the Beverage Education Manager at New York Kitchen in Canandaigua, New York, where her focus is building a warm and inviting educational space for everyone. Quarterly, co-teaches a class called DEI over Wine, which breaks down the concepts of DEI into easily digestible conversations over a glass.
In 2022, Maiah was named a New York Wine & Grape Foundation Unity Award recipient for her “enthusiastic support of the New York wine industry and exemplifying the use of wine as part of a happy, healthy lifestyle.” Maiah also serves on the Board of Directors for The Smith Opera House in Geneva.
